Trans hetero - Most common transsexual people. Man becomes woman and has sex with men. IDK example.
Trans homo - Man becomes woman and has sex with women in a lesbian relationship. Caitlyn Jenner.
Throwing in the "pre-op" vs "post-op" dichotomy just makes it even more complex and bizaare. A pre-op MTF transexual lesbian is...strange. These are the men with male genitals who dress like women, go into womens' bathrooms and then lust after the "other" women in there as is "her" right as any other lesbian woman can do...basically just a pervert in a dress.

I can't tell you the last time I solved a quadratic or integrated something over three dimensions.
I also can't tell you exactly how the "debit" and "credit" system works in accounting. See THAT math would be useful but they don't teach it in school.
If you want to learn accounting then take an accounting course.

But I feel compelled to point out this from the article: "Leyva is an assistant professor of Mathematics Education, a Department of Teaching and Learning faculty affiliate, and works for the Department of Gender & Sexuality Studies."
So this guy is not really a mathematics professor, and he may not even have a degree in mathematics beyond a BS. I would guess that he has a doctor of education degree (EdD), which you can get from a claw machine at Dave & Buster's.
It's the Ed.D people who inflicted the New Math on the US half a century ago, to disastrous effect. And since then these idiots have been pinballing from one half-baked fad to the next, to the point where it's become a wonder to me how any learning happens in the classroom at all.
