If Chavez's system is so destined to fail, why don't they just leave them to it to prove their system is superiour? As long as the CIA keeps interfering people will always be able to blame them.

That's a laugh. I fail to see how anyone could make Chavez look worse than he already does. At some point, people have no credibility and any attempt to discredit them is a fools errand.

The Western media have been at it for years.

We have a history of not liking Komminusts that fail their states, especially when said state is in our back yard. If you pull your head out of the sand, you'll see that this has been a constant regardless of a nations resources.

Regardless, you've not addressed the comment you quoted. Is it possible to discredit him anymore than he does himself?

Does this mean that any country that has a left wing ruler is communist? That is very polarising.
Obviously not in your eyes, but you ignore the fact that not everyone sees him the way you do, both inside and outside of Venezuela. Like any ruler he has had his positive and negative sides, the negative of which you emphasise and the positive you ignore.

They've had a go at it

So you're saying that you don't want to address the topic?

The answer to your original question is yes.
It's kind of a stupid question, like asking if it's possible for the media to make someone look worse than they already are.
