Democracy & Wealth: The first generation creates it. The second generation spends it. The third generation (today) loses it. You don't know what you have till it's gone. Wake up U.S. citizens.
So, weigh in. Not to get ahead of you Phranny, but do you suggest that the first gneration of which you speak should be limited in some way as to creating wealth? Democracy is sort of another issue. I'd say it is a given, as that first generation has the freedom to build wealth.
