You call a group of people "idiots" while proving you don't even know what the term you're criticizing means.
In simplest terms, "defund the police" refers to lessening the role of police in non-criminal matters. For example, no longer calling cops if neighbors are playing loud music. Funds would be allocated to non-police for deescalating such situations instead of wasting taxpayer money by sending people with guns to situations they shouldn't be in the first place.
Before calling people "idiots" try not to look like one yourself.
@vivify saidnon-criminal matters you say? sure is getting a lot of blacks and latinos killed.

@mott-the-hoople said"Defund the police" doesn't apply to your post, that's the point. You and an embarrassing amount of conservatives don't know what you're talking about when you criticize that term.

@mott-the-hoople saidSo....what’s your solution ?

4 more years of Trump ?
@mott-the-hoople saidI am sure that the people calling for the defunding of the police are not the tax payers that have
defund now!!! idiots

a vested interest to protect and pay taxes to have it protected by... the police!
Residents with homes of their own and business people should just move out and leave Chicago
a crime ridden, burnt out shell of a city with no tax base to tend to the needs of "the poor".
Just my opinion.

@mghrn55 saidSure, sure.
@Earl-of-Trumps
You guys aren’t very good at pushing the right hot buttons, are you ??
I'll just let you and Viv drive the narrative and move the goal posts any time you are challenged. It is a "power" issue, after all.
@vivify saidI think it is you that doesnt understand the policy. and maybe several council members rethinking their position.

I cant wait for the videos of “social workers” getting punched out or robbed 😂
Who would want a job like that?
Who is going to go into potential situations where they could get hurt?
I see it lasting about 6 months before they all quit and tell everyone to go back to calling the cops when there is a problem.
@chesstachio saidReally, you "can't wait" for videos of people getting hurt? I guess the violence isn't just "the people on the left", huh?
