Make up your mind. You can’t brag about Lincoln being a Republican and how so many white men fought to end slavery and then reject Yankees from your Party.

Got me there, I am trapped. But 200 years ago aint today. Best we only speak about today. Northerners are WAY diff than southerners are. A bit'clipped' in their parlance wouldn't you say? They'll say 'Why don't you get a sandwich for yourself?' Does that sound normal to you? We would say maybe, grab a sandwich'. 'For yourself' is reeeeally queer., superfluous and redundant. And we would not say 'Why don't you...' What in the hell? That implies that I had pondered getting a sandwich, and had decided not to get one. Say it out loud.....Why don't you get a sandwich. You see how overloaded the sentence is.
How about when they say 'are you coming'? We say that too.....BUT, we do NOT add this to the sentence.." Are you coming, Or Not??" What in the hell. Is that 2 questions? Geez

50 years was a long time in the scheme of things. Things change now Every HOUR! Different now. And no, I never knew anyone like that. Do you know people now like Bernie and Mamdani.?
