@metal-brain saidOne more time:
So you are fine with it? I don't believe you.
If the GOP banned everyone from being on the ballot except Trump you would be furious and allege election meddling and you know it. So does everyone else on this forum and you know it. Liar liar pants on fire.
Trump is disqualified from the office of President.
But aside from that, I really don't care how political parties pick their candidates. In NY, we have requirements to get on the ballot more strenuous than Massachusetts and our primaries are "closed" i.e. only members of the party can vote in them. I suppose you think that's not "democracy" either.
@no1marauder saidI didn't say it was the same. This is about accepting rules. Did you accept that rule regarding abortion in Texas? If not, everything you said regarding respecting rules is a lie. Liar liar pants on fire.
Okay then for the 3rd time:
No, suggesting laws outlawing abortion are essentially the same as political party rules regarding who gets on a primary ballot doesn't make sense except to an idiot.
@metal-brain saidI don't accept laws which violate People's Natural Rights as they are void and have no validity.

That you can't grasp that is quite different from the rules governing political party's selection of their candidates just show your enormous levels of stupidity and nothing more. There is nothing contradictory in my position and certainly nothing remotely resembling a lie no matter how many times you stomp your feet like a 5 year old.
@no1marauder saidRules are rules.......until now. I accept your admission that rules can and are unfair at times and all that you wrote about respecting existing rules prior to this is irrelevant because of your dishonesty about it.

@no1marauder
He is not disqualified. The court stayed its decision until Jan. 4, or until the U.S. Supreme Court rules on the case. Trump is not an executive official and even if he used to be he is not one now or when the CO SC made their decision. The constitution does not say "former" executive official, does it? LOL
Disagree? No matter. Republicans outnumber democrats on the SCOTUS. All that matters is how those republicans feel about the omission of the word "former". That amendment was also made to address the confederate insurrection, so we know that is what the framers were thinking about when they wrote it. They wanted to keep confederate insurrectionists from holding office after the civil war. Trump did not lead another civil war.
