deporting or kidnapping?

Debates

CBS news is calling this deportation.

But they are dropping immigrants in random countries against their will. Seems more like kidnapping.

Do you think the US is obligated to deport lawbreakers to wherever they would like to go?

Look on the bright side... people all over the world are now thinking twice before trying to enter and stay illegally in the US. Under Biden they were coming in by the thousands.

Oh, you saw their rap sheet then.

The administration is breaking the law yet again. Immigration law requires those deportated to be returned first preference to where they boarded transport to enter the US and only if that country declines to accept them to;

The country the deportee is a citizen of OR where they were born OR where they have a residence.

Only if none of those are agreeable to the relevant country, can the deportee be sent elsewhere.
USC, Title 8, Section 1231 (7)(c).

Again so what. Is that something new?

Yeah, it's something new. All the deportees sent to Columbia had no rap sheet, they were NOT criminals as president Musk said and Trump agreed.
Lying as usual.
Funny how a foreigner like yourself would even CONSIDER siding with a convicted felon and traitor POTUS and a power mad African who hates the US but hides it well.
Just the kind of person to trust with ALL our most sensitive personal data like SS #s, financial and medical history and who will he be selling or giving that data to?
Musk is not in it for his health, he owns Tesla factories in China and wants to build more so needs an edge in China and giving them a quarter BILLION personal files of every US citizen would be a HUGE coup for China.
OF COURSE you would go, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. If that is your intended reply, PROVE IT.

There WILL be those caught being here legally and ICE doesn't give a rats ass about protocol, you have brown skin, you are up for grabs.
The bunch Trump tried to pawn off on Columbia were found by them that those people had no criminal record. So you get a parking ticket, off you go legal or not.

If you were capable of a civil discussion without being a drama queen, and you provided facts with links that people can read, you might get some responses. But you just not capable.

Well right wingers are sure sticklers for following the law, aren't they?

I don't care. It seems like immigration law maybe should have had some effect on their not being here illegally in the first place, but I don't think you care that our government facilitated their illegal entry, so I feel fine cutting the Trump admin some slack on how they deal with the crisis.
