I heard that dinosaurs didn't have diaframs, so even if we could bring them back to life they would all suffacate!

maybe the fossils , the living ones couldnt live without a diaphragm ... the lung cavity needs negative pressure to work, the abdominal cavity needs positive pressure ....
where did you found that comment ???

The percentage of oxygen in the air has not remained constant, it was much greater when they were alive so they didn't need to breathe so deeply. However, it has been decreasing and so they would not be able get the required amount of oxygen with today's air.

yeah, that's what i meant. i thought diaphragms (sorry about the mispelling) allowed deeper breathing.

You can study the reduction state of iron in sedimentary rocks laid down at the time. The reduction state of the iron is determined largely from the O2 concentration in the air.

this is one of the problems i have with dating systems, as one cannot tell what a sample has 'experienced' through it's life. i guess i just don't understand them yet. i do know there is truth to them, i'm sceptical on how much.
no, oxygen cannot affect the rates of nuclear decay of other elements. You should read up on this topic, it is of central importance if you want to fully understand the creationist / evolution debate fully.

This is a decent website on the age of the earth for example;.

depends what you mean by ancient. the ice caps weren't there in the 'age of the dinosaurs' plus they tend to move and melt. for more recent times however, then yes traped air bubles are very usefull.
