Yes, it's a big deal because someone made a decision to cancel these grants, not knowing the difference between transgenic and transgender. The people who run the agency that makes these decisions have to know what these words mean.

Tump bragged in his speech he was cancelling grants that make mice transgender.

Democracy: All voters agree in unison to support those elected to office.
