I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. But in the midst of an invasion of Ukraine in which the US is working with allies towards peaceful solutions, it baffles me that the former US president and secretary of state are making public statements in support of the invasion. In the last day they've called Putin "genius" and "elegantly sophisticated". What? As negotiations proceed, the official twitter account of the GOP is calling our president "weak"
This is called disloyal opposition. They are doing it for political reasons, but it is anti-American and exactly what Russia/Putin want them to do. A major US political party have become puppets to a foreign government.

The only other explanation for why he's continuing to call Putin a genius while he invades Ukraine is some sort of financial relationship that he wants to maintain. Russian oligarchs launder money through the US all the time.
