WW2 was in many ways a racial war, and the white race lost because they turned on each other.
EDIT - Who were the non-whites in WWII? It was about whites attacking whites and East Asians attacking East Asians mostly. Depending on your definition of "white".
Back in that time of course Germanics did not consider Slavs to be of the same white race as them. That's why the Nazis attacked Russia...they thought they'd be easy prey...natural slaves to the master Nordic race who gave them the name Rus.
Nowadays "the whites" seem to accept Slavs as one of their own, but it wasn't like that in Nazi Germany.
It's kinda like the question of Spaniards and Italians - are Latinos white? Many people have a hard time with that question.

Interesting FACT - Japanese, like Mongols, Hungarians and Turks, are Altaics (north Asians, vs Chinese east Asians or Caucasian south Asians). The Altaics are one of the more imperialistic groups of cultures out there...pretty much the only one that consistently beats up on Europeans. I suspect that's where the Japanese arrogance and militancy comes from.
