How in the HELL can he think foreign companies are the ones getting punished when his tariff is in fact a sales tax up front instead of during the purchase.
I can only assume he thinks people are SO stupid they cannot POSSIBLY understand the consequences of such a disastrous plan and now he talks about making it TWENTY percent not ten like before.

How can ANYONE think that is a good idea? Those companies would go, hey, we are SELLING our stuff, not buying. If we were adding a tariff on EXPORTS that would be a tax foreigners would pay unless they just go SCREW YOU, we will buy elsewhere.

But they lose NOTHING with this stupid tariff. That can't be clearer but Trump just thinks about how much money the government gets completely ignoring it is our own citizens paying that tax and having less money in their pockets as a DIRECT result.

Trump talks about cutting taxes when in fact he would be taxing every person in the US for EVERYTHING coming in, dog whistles, cameras, food, TV's, radios, Cars, steel, aluminum, ANYTHING imported WE pay a tax on.

UNFUUKING BELEIVABLE is what that is.

He looked old and tired and had to huff and puff just to get his tired 'policy' out and he also said he knows NOTHING about Project 2025 when in fact it was written by his own X staff, 140 of them and his own VP pick wrote the forward to the book written about it by the head snake of 2025 and we are supposed to believe Trump won't bounce right into it on day one?
