Since they cannot get rid of Trump and they know he is likely to win the elites now have to resort to plan B. Withhold QE or other spending that increases the money supply to save the economy and let the hard times take place during Trump's term.
Spending is the heroin of the economy. We need that fix to get through even though we know we will regret it later when we need another spending fix. This economy is dependent on spending to prevent a recession. Congress will deny spending and Trump will rightfully blame congress. Democrats will blame Trump. The blame game will continue as usual.
