Economy grows 4.3% smashing our expectations. Not the expectations of the TDS contingent. Just wonderful. The Mtg 30-year is down to 6 from 7 a year ago. Your youngsters can marry, get a house, and give you grandchildren.
All is great. The train rumbles on.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidWe can make more headway in bringing the libs around if we refrain from use of the word ‘win’. .It seems that their principles dictate that everyone ‘finish’ at the end of the day in the same place. As a matter of fact, their supreme leader Kamala actually said that. Those exact words.
@AverageJoe1
"There will be so much winning"....
So how do we post on matters of advancement in such a way as to not offend?
Your thoughts?
@AverageJoe1 saidIt's impossible, can't say anything good about Trump's accomplishments without offending them. Same with saying anything negative about Biden/Kamala, no matter how awful they were.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidListen, flip that and you have our side.

The difference here is that Trump is objectively bad, on the order of the worst president ever. You people, because of your TDS, think that was Biden, because Trump says so.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou don't.

Judging from Biden's results, I'd say it's Biden that is objectively bad and Trump is good.
@AverageJoe1 saidGrow up.

My interest rate on my mortgage is 2.5%.
Under Trump, I can probably never re-finance again, unless I want to pay much, much more.
This economy is failing me.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidNo.

You mean TO YOU.
"I'd say" is not an objective statement.
This would be more of a New Year's Gift:
-- Trump either chokes on a burger or thinks he can fly and gets his head lopped off by a helicopter blade.
-- Pudgy Combat Beardo Violet decides to retire from public service to focus on home and family.
-- The Witches of New Orleans FINALLY manage to steer things in a positive direction without unintended consequences just by sending Mike Johnson a bunch of creepy greeting cards.
-- Chuck Grassley passes on becoming POTUS because he doesn't want to die of flu from cold weather after the swearing-in.
Oh, wait! That means the never-ambitious Marco Rubio (who used his Florida-State purchasing cards for personal expenses back in the day, and whose parents left Cuba BEFORE the revolution) would become president.
However, it's quite possible that the next in line (Scott Bessent) already has plans in motion. Doesn't he think he looks presidential?
After Bessent come Pete Hegseth and Pam Bondi.
Now isn't that such a wonderful line of succession, just in case? 😉
@Suzianne saidChild, please stop telling other people to grow up.
Grow up.

If your mortgage rate is already that low, I don't know how it could go any lower under any President.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou were saying recently that you could by gas for $2 per gallon. What state do you live in that sells gas for $2/gallon?
