@mike69 It should have happened as soon as Putin refused to agree to a cease fire. Putin has a history of going back on his word. He wants to own all of the former USSR countries. One of the Russian delegates to the Alaska event was wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with USSR. Strong sanctions now. The problem is, Trump fancies himself a dictator and he loves kissing up to dictator Putin. Trump is selling the US out at every opportunity. Maybe he's a Russian agent. I think he's a traitor.

Hi Phranny,
This would have been a very aggressive move pouring gas on a fire instead of water at a very sensitive moment in negotiations while 5 to 7 thousand die weekly and more than likely the last effort by us. Tensions were trying to be reduced to bring him to the table not increased, do you think this would have done that or stopped Russia? This would have increased the chance of a larger world war, more death, at a time we didn’t have to use these tactics yet. Trump is correct in not doing this at that time in negotiations although I’m sure he wanted to and will strongly if this last ditch effort doesn’t work.
Russia has been sent messages of strength in speech of what could happen with sanctions, opening our oil reserves, seeing our strength in Iran, along with flying a bomber he has nothing like over his head while walking through a line of f35 fighter jets and more.

So what,it’s just a popular sweatshirt in Russia selling for 130 dollars, cold plane, and he never took his jacket off completely showing it and like I said who cares. The rest of your comment is just the normal stupidity spewed from lib leaders down to the sheep intentionally to repeat to one another and outward to sway people against Trump since your party has nothing but what cost them the election that their doubling down on. We see the truth and so do others of the almost nonstop hard work and effort he puts out to bring America and the world out of the hole we’ve been in. What you’re doing as losers with no new ideas or inspirations to do anything positive to actually help, or your party leaders that don’t even have the talent and insight to do so, just hate, shows how sad you and pathetic they are. And you totally ignore the FACT JACK that Trump is in Putin's back pocket. Maybe you can tell ME why Trump has NEVER put up serious sanctions against Russia AND voted with NORTH KOREA and IRAN and Russia AND China to CONDEMN Russia for attacking Ukraine, US voted with those four when the ENTIRE rest of the world voted to condemn Russia for attacking Ukraine.
And you never even ASK why we would do such a despicable act as bowing down to Russia with the entire WORLD watching.
