My interpretation of this situation is this;
Europe and the US know for well that Shia'ts and Sunni's don't like each other. They are not attacking Iran as they want them to build WMD's. The only place Iran would ever use these, would be on a Sunni country.
Serves the West well, doesn't it?
The US never hesitated to take on Iraq or threatening Syria with Invasion. And most of Europe backed it. All this patience with Iran makes me very suspicious.

Peachy said the only reason Iran wanted nukes was to kill all Sunnis which I find difficult to believe after what the Iranian president said about Israel.
He also said most Europeans supported the Iraq war, but were against any Iran war. Actually Britain is the only European country to support the Iraq war (Spain and Poland both pulled out) whereas many Europeans support action in Iran. The final conclusion I reached was that Peachy was waffling.
