I submit that it is YOU who wants religion banned, meaning any religion which does not conform to YOUR 'idea' of 'Christianity', which arguably, is not Christianity at all.
Which is EXACTLY what the First Amendment bans. The establishment of ONE religion as our ONLY 'bonafide' religion. This is why the separation of church and state was such a huge freaking deal at the Continental Congress. The best way to avoid the establishment of ONE religion as the only ACCEPTABLE religion is to not allow ANY religion a seat at the table. This is being fought tooth and nail right now by YOUR representatives. Charlie Kirk was a huge proponent of injecting HIS bastardized version of Christianity into our government.
