For one thing, the technology has increased to the extent regular people cannot tell the difference between real video and fake ones. And whatever the US was doing 50 years ago is nothing to compare with what is going on now with Russian, China and Iran all doing the interference.
I know it means nothing to you, but here in the US we want to prevent a clear would be dictator from taking power, and BTW, if he does and fuuks up OUR economy you will feel it too, when the US goes downhill and is surely will under the incompetence of Trump the entire world will feel the collateral damage.
We are the biggest economy on the planet, right now pushing towards 30 TRILLION GNP, China as tanked and now below twenty tril, like 18 tril, Russian GNP is smaller than TEXAS.
So don't get smug thinking the US is the devil and there have been some bad shhytt happened with the US, I lived long enough to have seen some of it first hand.
But it is NOW, 21st century, not some past pre technology crap we may have done back in the day.
