I wonder why they decided to unify. Could it be because they were running out of cannon fodder to use against the Jooos? Who's going to be the new Max Shmeling? I would think it should be one of the Hamas hard boys. They're fighters ya' know. You can tell by the way they blow themselves up. Will the Joos have to wear badges?
Which party gets to run the death camps? Or will Fatah and Hamas each get one?

I send a picture of Leon Klinghoffer to Abu Mazen every year, does this mean I have to send a copy to Khaled Mashaal too now?

The two parties also agreed that the political platform of the unity government would not require Hamas to abide by previous agreements signed between the PLO and Israel, one of the three conditions the Quartet had set for granting the Hamas government legitimacy.

Instead, the unity government has been asked to "honor" the agreements with Israel, as well as resolutions of the United Nations and Arab summits pertaining to the Israeli-Arab conflict.

Moreover, the Fatah-Hamas agreement does not require the unity government to explicitly recognize Israel's right to exist or Hamas to renounce violence, which was another of the Quartet's requirements.

Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss.

Well, it seems that they are willing to stop killing each other and work
out that tendency to violence. Way to go for them!

Still disturbs me, though, to see those photos of "joy" and celebration
while handing an AK-47.

What will follow from here?
The Saudi pressure and the Saudi money "united" them, next an awful lot of big hollow words were spoken and what remains is the waiting for another clash.

Gee, I thought getting elected by the people granted a government legitimacy; but apparently all national governments must meet additional requirements imposed by Western powers.

Good to know.

They're forced to make an agreement because we won't accept a democratically elected goverment.

It's sickening. History is going to look back on us and be very harsh.

It's going as I expected so far!!

The former Palestinian Authority attorney-general, who is affiliated with Fatah, was kidnapped Monday morning by Hamas operatives, Army Radio reported.

The kidnapping came while the Palestinian Authority awaited the return of its prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, from Mecca, where he recently signed a treaty for a unity government with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader-in-exile Khaled Mashaal.
