I've heard a lot about femenism and how it's supposed to 'make a less biased world', but so far, i dont think its working.

I'm not against the EEOC, but they arnt actually helping anyone. for example, they had Sears sued because more men than women have been selling Lawn Mowers and Appliances. that's not big news, but it's important as an example. the only way the suit wasnt lost was because they polled the employees, and it turns out that women didn't want to work there.

Femenism lawyers are just like other lawyers: they'll take any case as long as theyre paid. they don't help, and theyre actually paid more if they win (from 150$ an hour to 900$ an hour, in one case)

The controversy about men earning more than women, has a truth behind it; person per person, more men work, and men do more jobs that require risk, and make you work in the elements, which is where women dont work. this controversy is brought up because women dont do risky work, where the good money is made. dollar per dollar, men did make more than women, but the women didnt want to work. also, if this was true, then business would only hire women because of the pay differences.

Even the SATs have been sued. one person (feminist lawyer, most likely) pointed out that men get better scores on this test, especially in reading writing and math. already mentioned person sued until the tests were 'made less bias' (how beats the hell out of me)

Title IX was supposed to make sports more even, but it's only been taking away from the athletes that want to perform. good performers, even future athletes had their sports yanked at Brown because Title IX made it so that they needed an equal ratio of male and female athletes.

Bottom line: no mater how much you want it to be said, men and woman are not different. They were born different, they will live differently, and no number of unneeded laws and lawsuits isnt gonna change that. GET A CLUE, STOP THE MADNESS!

I've seen guys selling cosmetics, right here in the galleria at Macy's. Of course they're gay, but they do look good at their job. Most populations/cities in America are more homogenous than the one I live in. I've noticed more difference in individuals here than between the sexes..

Interesting points.

I think thats predominantly a problem with develped countries. In my 3W country there are still Employment Ads saying "Attractive Female Workers wanted" or "Male Truck Driver Needed ".

Are you an idiot or something?

Most of the studies regarding the pay gap compare the same jobs. i.e. A woman working in a lawfirm with the same number of years experience gets paid less than her male counterparts in many circumstances. Great strides have been made in this area, but still more needs to be done.

Next time you are at the library look up the phrase "institutional sexism", find a book about it and educate yourself.
