Warren Buffett has announced that he will match the amount that any Republican Congressman will pay in extra taxes AND he is willing to match Mitch McConnell not one-to-one but three-to-one. This is a great opportunity for the US to pay down that deficit. Please write your local Republican Congressman and urge him to pay a flat rate of at least 34% of income (Buffet is taxed at 17%.) If all of them kick in that amount and Mitch doubles that amount we could make a serious dent in the deficit and taxes could be kept low for the job-creators. What a great opportunity to stand up for America! Please post here any responses you receive.

If every congress critter (not just the Republicans) chipped in their entire net worth, and then Buffet matched it, we could probably run the govt on the total for about half a day.

I'm sure Obama would rather be running on his record as opposed to trying to sell the "do nothing Congress" meme since a) the House has passed a ton of bills to try to fix the economy and b) the Dem controlled Senate has done nothing with them.

The same sentiment that gave the House to the GOP in 2010 is still out there and Obama continues to be a miserable failure. He's vulnerable, and you know it.

Ok, so he thinks the average person is a moron then. It's gotta be one of the two.
The average person who willingly votes for candidates who represent bourgeois values and interests, thereby undermining his/her own class by perpetuating inequality and the existing apparatus of oppression of the proletariat, is certainly a moron.
