Here is an article about what would happen to the earth if all the people were to disappear.

It mentions one thing: no matter what happens to the earth if people go away the RF transmissions we make will continue to spread out into the galaxy and they make the point that those signals could still be picked up by some civilization in our galaxy but after 100,000 years or so, even those signals would be beyond the bounds of our galaxy and start spreading into intergalactic space. It would be a million years or more at that rate before the next closest galaxy could even have a chance to pick up those signals so for all intents and purposes we would have totally disappeared and the earth would say good riddance.
Originally posted by sonhouseWould'nt it be funny if they did pick up our transmissions but did'nt even care? It reminds me of a cartoon I saw once. In one picture it shows NASA turning off a deep space probe because of lack of funds. Then in the next picture you saw the probe in deep space being discovered by aliens with the same problem. They did not have the funds to go retreive the probe. LOL.

Are you a member of a voluntary extinction society?

We build enough spacecraft to start over on Mars or Venus after we screw those planets up enough to support our kind of so-called life and go there and let the earth recover for about a million years. No humans allowed on the planet, make it into a spherical preserve. Let Dolphins evolve into something better than us.
Is it possible to have been an alien in a past life? It would help explain these stange urges of mine to go build a space craft of some kind and go abduct aliens.
In light of how much we are truly screwing up the planet, the religious set thinking we are the pinnacle of creation is just a tiny bit ludicrous.
