Maybe this is just an accident or a coincidence, but Fox news seems to like to make sure to put the "D" for democrat symbol in behind the names of republican politicians who are involved in scandal. Insidious or accident?

Oh my goodness.

That is really scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for criticisms. Why would Fox news be interested in mislabeling Pat Toomey (too Conservative?) or John McCain (too centrist?)?

Those graphics are put up by networks literally hundreds of times a day. They managed to find mistakes in 7 cases spread out over three years. In only three of those cases were scandals involved. Toomey, Specter, Chafee and McCain were not involved in scandals at all. If they were digging at Chafee by giving him the (D), it's a little silly to give Whitehouse the (R) when he was running to the left of Chafee.

Let's get real, folks. If you want to criticize Fox, criticize it for its content. Do we really need to look for nonsense like this?

I was trying to make a joke. Sorry my sense of humor does not translate very well on blogs yet. I am really wondering what goes into the process of making those bottom of the screen runners. Does a room full of people type the stories out all day or is it somewhat automated from a computer? On those graphics under the person though, I think it is a pretty huge screw up that at the very least the anchor should catch. Maybe humans were not built for the 24hr news cycle. Hey most of those cable news channels are for entertainment purposes anyway right?

You may not have been serious about it, but that site is.

I'm sure there are errors like that made all the time on the cable news shows. In general, probably nobody notices; and those that do don't care or they think about it for 5 seconds and forget about it.

they don't get labelled as infotainment by accident.
