Are you providing anedoctal evidence to show that he was using anedoctal evidence?

The difference is that the actual numbers don't have a personal agenda and they tend to support his view.

"Free Health Care is Indeed About the Money "

In other unrelated news, water was described as being wet, grass was observed to grow, and after conducting a two year study into the effects of long term meditation, the bureau of mindless statistics noted that watching paint dry is much more satisfying than waiting for a watched pot to boil.

Ironically, if she'd been an American, she would still have had to pay that same amount of money...

I don't think it ironic that she had to pay for her health care. Whether she's American or Canadian, she's going to pay for it one way or another: through the cost of health insurance, taxes, etc. Indeed, the only irony here is that in Canada, the government guarantees free health care for all, regardless of cost...but never delivers.

Dear Palynka, Shav, Kmax, uzless

JUST LET PEOPLE CHOOSE. You guys set up a 'free' not for profit health care system and let people choose freely which one they sign on to.

You see how obvious it is, everyone is happy, the savings in keyboards no longer battered into dust debating whether or not you people are more qualified at assigning values to others than those people themselves will halt GW like a plugged toilet. Try to get over the horror of people being free from your meddling.

It's just as I thought -- you have nothing important to say.

They don't ned it dummy. They can go to any hospital in the country and by law they have to be admitted in. If they don't pay then it's taxpaying hardworking people like me who have to foot the bill.

You don't know too much about who is uninsured in America, do you? Mostly it's illegal immigrants, young people who'd rather not subsidize a health care plan at their office, and higher income workers.

Let's just gloss over the fact that they pay less per capita and have better health indicators.

Sure. Just that the choice will be done in the polls.

Doublespeak.

A majority forcing their values on a minority is not 'choice' and the smallest minority of them all is the indidvidual.
