Believe it or not, I got that. In fact, I don't think I even bothered humouring you with a post.

I have and urban legends is just another media based, left wing, anti American rag. ..." seemingly without realising that the urban myths article was actually taken from www.about.com, one of the most heavily regulated sites on the net.

Check your sources better next time.
I indeed did check out the source months ago. My follow up was just a scam and YOU fell for it. bb solved this one, and you're trying to convince me you knew the truth also. Loser"

My friend started a web site for the unit i was in in Nam. These emails circulate all the time in the chat room and are always checked out. Including the false statements about Jane Fonda and
John Kerry. Do the expression; hook, line and sinker mean anything to you?

The following quote is from his memoirs currently found in the Vietnam war memorial i Hanoi:

" What we still don't understand is why you Americans stopped the bombing of Hanoi. You had us on the ropes. If you had pressed us a little harder, just for another day or two, we were ready to ...[text shortened]... a far more, for they will destroy your honour.

What say ye, American haters?

As far as I'm concerned, Vietnam was just another case of men in pyjamas defeating the most expensive army in the world.
No matter how many urban myths, half-truths and lies you throw at us.

I would, of course, think that you had up front and personal knowledge of that? The NVA i fought didn't wear jamies. Many say they had the best light infantry weapon (AK-47 and RPGs) in the world. They had all the best weapons available from the USSR and china. We returned the favor to the Russians in Afgan. by supplying the Afgan with stinger missles etc. The Russians ( with the largest army in the world) lost to a bunch of rag headed desert rats.

We never invaded North Vietnam. The Russians did invade Afgan. We were in South
Vietnam to defend the country until they could defend themselves.
We finally got the NVA to the peace table so we could get out and then left the south with no further military aid. The NVA beat a South Vietnam army with no ammo. The US sucks for that! At least the US soldier wasn't shot in the back running away like the Dutch in WWII.

Would you please OD on your tax free drugs and DIE.

You're just as delusional as the people who talk about how the US won World War 2 despite the rest of the Allies.
