@cliff-mashburn saidDunno,' some people laugh at The Three Stooges,
Funny in that it shows how far we have changed. That word used on the cover of the TV Guide, which was in almost every American household at the time, would be unthinkable today.
You don't find that funny?
Or perhaps odd would be a better word?
Eye opening?
Gotta be a word for it.
others prefer Saturday Night Live but of the widely
diverse senses of humor,
I doubt many would consider this 'funny.'
A word for it?.........Unfunny?
@cliff-mashburn saidMaybe a phrase is better, like changing times.

@mott-the-hoople saidI think they scare you.
do women scare you? little man
The woman who walks past you on the street, a woman who is modern, totally ignores you or tells you to F off if you try to engage her in conversation.
She's not one to stay home, in the kitchen and submit to you when you come home from work.
And she doesn't always keep her legs closed, even though she is single and uses birth control and controls her own reproductive system.
(although she probably keeps them closed for guys like you) 😛
Yup. I think you're scared of women.

titled the thread instead of
''funny'' 😉
@averagejoe1 saidAnd others have a difficult time
Yeah, hard for some people to get their arms around simple colloquialisms. Libs, nonversed in standard nomenclature, take the word literally, as something to laugh at.
with simple vocabulary,
you know, expressing themselves 😛

Sorry, Cliff. Consider your audience. Now, if you had had a stand-up comedian do a video talking about it, they would laugh and laugh. But that is comedy, they do not get humor. They simply do not.
Now, having said that, it is not really supposed to be funny. So my comment about the stand-up doesn't quite nail this. The Post was meant to point out how casually ...[text shortened]... a magazine cover today how unbelievable that would be. I found the post interesting. Thanks Cliff.

OK how about this? There were three of these movies with Fred Williamson and "the word that must not be said" in the title, it was up on movie marquees, advertised on the radio, etc:

Nah, Carlos Mencia's "N* in a box" is much more entertaining.
Or Lavell Crawford's "N* President"
