A Girl Gay in Damascus gained a worldwide readership
and was closely followed by news organisations.

But the true author has now come forward - Tom MacMaster,
an American man studying in Scotland.

Oh, this is just another example of how Western media (and
its brainwashed following) treat the Middle East: they are
profoundly ignorant about the complexities of the region and
just grab whatever is fed to them, particularly what is according
to their bias, causing a chaos in the heads of those who just
munch whatever information they are given.

Just like Pallywood. This reminds me of the Palestinians
parading a coffin of a man "murdered" by the IDF... and who
"resurrects" after the cameras are gone, lol.

Clowns.

Being ignorant about the complexities of the region? Just grabbing whatever is fed to them, particularly what is according to their bias? You may well have a valid point but you could just as easily be talking about posters like yourself.

There really is nothing about your tabloid style partisan blurtings, followed-up as they invariably are with puerile insults, that suggest you are anything other than just another brainwashed follower of what you happen to choose to follow, who munches whatever information [you] are given, as you put it in your OP.

The difference, Gary, is that this is a random forum in a chess
website, not the freakin' BBC, you ignorant idiot.

Chew that a bit.

Not, it is not. It proves that you get your "knowledge" from
opinions shared by random strangers in a chess website, instead
of using reliable sources. It speaks a ton about you, actually.

It is quite pathetic, I must say, that you take seriously a place
which is intended just for laughs.

You're just trying to be funny. But you're not funny.

Silly tabloid taunting. Followed up by attempted unfunny insults. I called it. Q.E.D.
