So, how do you feel about pediphiles?
Children are not consenting adults, therefore the question is not appropriate. Also, the risk of genetic defects in a child resulting from incest makes it in society's interest to forbid incest. I concede it would be good for a child to have parents of both genders, but being loving, kind, and responsible trumps gender.

I say that incest is illegal in most countries. I would also warn them that procreation in a relationship as this should be avoided. Then I would move to another barstool.
But why is it illegal??

So, according to the definition of a bigot (see below), you are one. Does that make you a bad person??

"A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own."

I agree, but that makes me a bigot! Oh well, I can live with that.

It is illegal because Inbreeding leads to an increase in homozygosity, that is, the same allele at the same locus on both members of a chromosome pair. This occurs because close relatives are much more likely to share the same alleles than unrelated individuals.

How can you be such a homophobe? You were in the Navy, I'm sure you had plenty of gay friends.

HAHAHAHA...thank you for the laugh!! "You were in the Navy, I'm sure you had plenty of gay friends" That was funny. Even if I knew someone was a homosexual, it made no difference to me. It's nothing to freak out about. You do need to stop stereotyping.

As far as incest, it is not right, biologically speaking. That is what I am saying about homosexuals, its not right. An anus was made to have stuff exit it only, not enter it. Why are you fighting Mother Nature?

So it's no big deal if someone is gay if they are in the Navy, so why is it not okay if they are gay and not in the Navy? Tradition?

As long as they stick to the rules "Don't ask, don't tell" and all is good.

Any one against gay rights (including gay marriage) is a bigot. Such a person is guilty of discrimination. I suggest if a person is against gay rights, he should keep his opinion to himself because his is as much as announcing he wants to prevent people from sharing rights that he himself enjoys.
I agree. Let the faggots marry. When they have to go through divorce court like we normal people do and lose HALF like everyone else does then they'll raise hell again to change it back to what it was. Be careful what you wish for my friend.

Ofcourse people have the right to their opinions and the right to voice them. I am just saying if a person announces he is against gay rights, he is also announcing he is a bigot (and would therefore be better off to keep his mouth shut).
That sounds very close-minded of you. Maybe you're the bigot who should keep his mouth shut lest someone discover you have nothing very informed to say? Perhaps you have a bias against people who are of a Christian mindset or who don't want to redefine marriage or who don't want to overturn 2,000 years of civilization? Maybe you should think more before shooting your mouth off and issuing edicts from on high?

We already know that a mother figure and a father figure are both extremely important to a child.
How do we know that? I was raised by my mother alone (after my
stepfather was thrown out for repeatedly beating her up in front of us
children). Now, I could be wrong, but I think I turned out pretty ok even
without that shwinehound in the house (or perhaps because he was
thrown out when I was still pretty young - it impressed me - still does -
that my mum could kick arse like that when needed, yet were so sweet
and tender otherwise). Looks like a male figure wasn't even needed. The
important things to a child is to feel appreciated, loved, wanted and safe.
That can be provided by a gay couple as well as a hetero couple (and
biological parents).

If you feel something missing when growing up, it's certainly not the lack
of a specific gender rolemodel. At best that's an easy way to explain an
otherwise complicated, personal issue.

You really don't understand that not everyone who supports gay rights is gay or lesbian. Is that really such a difficult idea?
