I feel that JR should open up a second front. Forget Iran and North Korea...
He should go for the hurricanes!

"My fellow USanians," So he would say, "It gives me grave missinggivings to tell unload myself and burboun you all with this news. But my wisest and learned friends have forced upon me the challenge of upping and downing this here Hurricane. My brother Jeb agrees.

"Hurricane Katrina is obviously communist. Only communists have names like that. Names like "Ugh" and "Peterstroijka". These communist hurricanes are evil and we shall fight them on the beaches, in the marshes and in the old peoples homes.

"My fellow citisands of the Christian republic of the United States of the Americas and most of the middle East, you must support us in this war. It's not a war easily won and it has nothing to do with oil or Koyotoya. The evil Gods of anici...anca...ancio...old Greece have come to thwart the one true Christian God. This agression, it will not stand! We, the defenders of the face, shall pick up our umbrellas and show definiance in the face of onslaughter"

I can just hear him now...

It must of been GWB's forefather (Homer Bush) who decided to build New Orleans below sea level, on fault line on the main hurricane path.

I notice everyone with a car has fled, but the disabled (this term includes people without a car) are forced to sweat it out in the football stadium.

Another example of compassionate America!

I've noticed some people trying to blame Bush for the hurricane. Is there no evil this man can't do?

Does the term "mandatory evacuation" mean anything to them? If I was in New Orleans without a car, and a CAT 5 HURRICANE WAS GOING TO HAVE A DIRECT HIT, I would would call a friend or family member, hitchhike, WALK, do anything I could to get out of that damn city. WTF every happened to busses! New Orleans is a big city, why didn't they bus the people out? Now we have to spend more money and time getting all the idiots out of their homes and off their roofs because they were too stupid to leave with the rest of them.

And your post is compassionately stupid! What would the "enlightened" city of Brighton do in a similar circumtance...go to the local soccer stadium and have a brawl? What would the Dutch do if the North Atlantric decided to flush out their living rooms? Would there be a compassionate show of euro love?

If the hurricane had been called "Kyoto" maybe the message might have gotten through...
