This actually made me chuckle. This is straight out of a bad dystopian movie, one that you put on when you have nothing else to watch and you fall asleep halfway through.
Republicans are making sure voting is as hard as possible. They are making the lines longer. And now? They want to make it a misdemeanor to give grandma waiting in the huge line that THEY caused some water.

Mail-in ballots, that came into prominence because of COVID, raised red flags all over the place for the Republicans.
Not because they were prone to voter fraud.
But rather because they effectively nullified the voter suppression tactics that the GOP have been practicing.

US democrats aren’t anywhere near left-wing.
Moving away from the extremist GOP can’t be hard to do. There’s very little to the right of them and no sanity to be found.
