I'm just curious, but does anyone fall into the "trap" of homeless people anymore? Now, I know that all homeless people aren't cons, but how can you really tell?

There was a piece a couple of months back about giving to the homeless. Cameras watched as people would give...and give...and give to these people and they in turn, would NOT use it for food, but for liquor and drugs. WTF???????

When confronted about it, they acted like they didn't know what they were talking about, and all that hot sh**.

When I give, I give from my heart. And it sickens me when someone goes behind my back and does some foul, fu_cked up sh_it like that! So that's why I started to give food. I had one guy look at me like I was stupid when I told him to hold on. I came back with some burgers, fries and a water. The look on his face....PRICELESS!

The cynic in me wanted to take it back, but then again, I was doing the right thing. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm not about to support someone's habit. Fu_ck that!

I came upon a beggar one day. I reached into my pocket to give him a $10 bill, but remembered that the IRS had, just that previous April, come to take that very $10 bill from me in order to serve as my contribution to the general welfare of the citizens of our great democracy. I told the beggar that he should be expecting a $10 check from them soon.

I passed that same beggar the next month. He told me that he received only a $1 check. To ease my shock, he explained that attached to the check was a note of explanation:

"Dear Beggar,

We are pleased to inform you that we have collected $10 from one Dr. Scribbles to be directed toward you. As a fee for this service we have withheld $9, to pay for suits, limousines, fancy lunches, campaign expenses, lawsuits, internal fraud, and a host of other necessities which we voluntary take on to help transfer Dr. Scribbles' donation to you.

Fare thee well,
IRS"

I had to ask myself, why didn't they just let me give the guy $10? Aren't the real beneficiaries of the welfare program the governemnt workers and politicians who collect salaries in exchange for taking my money and giving it to the beggar?

I've done the same thing but got them a nourishing salad sandwich instead.

You're great but not so great.

I tried to give one some food and he threw it on the floor and shouted abuse at me.

I have in the past been friends with people who have been beggars (at one point I knew most of the beggars in a particular town). None of them, without exception, slept on the streets, and all of them were either heavy drinkers, drug users or thought it was an easy way to get free money. One in particular spent more time and money in the pub than me.

It sickens me that these type of people give a bad name to those in genuine need.

That's why I physically abuse them every chance I get.

Homeless people don't care what you say or what you think for that matter... that's why you have to actually hit them with something... but be sure it's long enough thaty you don't accidentally touch them. Eeeeeewwwwwwwwww!

Whever I see a homeless person asking for something, I usually give them a dollar. I'm not sure what they are going to use it for, but I cant distinguish who needs it or not, so I just give to all.
