All this talk of nuclear weapons rings alarm bells in my mind.

We all know that nuclear weapons are capable of mass destruction
and we are rightfully fearful of them but we are able to sleep well
at night knowing that nobody in their right mind would use them.

The real weapons of mass destruction in todays world reach into
your wallets at night and take that five note or few cents that you
can never quite account for but leave the most part for you.

The good conman will not steal from you but stimulate your greed
and take from you that way.

The good thief has no interest in getting caught, only in continuing
his profession.

Welcome to the new millenium of information warfare.

Yes but a good thief also doesn't make his getaway in a shiny new motor.

without capitalism, how would that five-note get in your wallet in the first place?

Interesting point. Suppose I had $1,000,000 in cash in safe, that I checked every Friday. A burglar breaks into the safe on Saturday morning, has it away with the cash and spends it all by Thursday.

Has the burglar only stolen from me on Friday morning, when I become aware that the theft happened?

The real question is: If you had $1,000,000 in cash in your safe, and only needed to check it once a week, does it really matter if someone stole it? You're obviously not using it.

I'm not sure, but I think he's my neighbour. He lives on a hill (in a large building that's also a safe), he's got a high hat and looks kinda like a duck... Ever seen him?
