Now, seriously, the best thing about Texas is Austin, a gorgeous and peaceful university city where you can see some art cinema, check some art galleries, relax in the park while Willie Nelson smokes pot, go to the surfers' bar, eat spanked ice cream at the flying cow, enjoy some shiner bocks in the 6th street while listening to some interesting alt band, or eat Kosher at Katz at 1 a.m. after a nice café afternoon with friends.

Nothing personal, I just get irritated with these self-righteous types praising their little liberal oasis. That and I hate Shiner Bock, bleh!
