You flatter yourself.
Judging by your posts on this forum you appear to have a large chip on your shoulder and to be somewhat feeble-minded.

I really cannot be bothered to read and reply again to your incomprehensible drivel, so you may as well save yourself the trouble of posting it.

Once you get past the female genital mutilation, honor killings, homicide bombings, anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, anti-modernism, etc., the Muslim world has a lot to offer by way of their cuisine and architecture.
Everyone is "anti-american" to you.

Good things about the Islamic world?

One: I don't live within its nasty, ignorant, oppressive boundaries.

So, it's the "nasty, ignorant, oppressive boundaries" you don't approve of -- how then do you stand living inside that head of yours?

Once you get past the way old people are cast aside to rot, gang killings, school shottings, racism, anti-Islamism (OK, I made that word up), economic tyrany of weaker countries, etc., the Western world has a lot to offer by way of their technology and medical care

Please remind me what Belgium's other contributions to civilization are besides brothels, pig farms and effluence-choked rivers.

It's the world peace Kapital. When it's not being invaded.

ohhhh, hark at him! Apart from beer, chocolate and pointless lacy things I don't know what Belgium has contributed to the world. I certainly didn't know about the pig farms or brothels so it appears you have a much better knowledge of these things than me. Are you suggesting we start a "good things about Belgium" thread to see if anyone else has a better idea?

ps. I'm not Belgian...

Why get personal or defensive? Belgium's contribution to the world is irrelevant (especially as it is part of the Western world I commented on). My point is that you can pick a bunch of bad things about any civilisation which should be done away with, and you shouldn't concentrate on just those and refuse to acknowledge that there might be any good aspects.

I looked up Belgium on Wiki and it said the country was home to the inventor of the Saxophone and that French fries are a favorite food.

I guess I don't care who they're named after. I like waffles.

I'll take your recommendation and start the thread.
