We're trying my friend, but there are a lot of redneck hooligans over here trying to recreate the days of yesteryear when all was right with the world (so they think) and, to quote a movie line; "as their scrambling from one deal to the next, who's got his eye on the planet? as the air thickens, the water sours, even the bees honey takes on the metallic taste of radioactivity--and it just keeps coming!" This goes well beyond that. They don't accept base reality. Jan 6 didn't happen. Furries are invading schools. Climate change is fake news. COVID was released by China to hurt Trump.
Real conservative thoughts can be debated and discussed and voted on. But you can't debate an idea on its merits if its fundamentally untrue.
