1000+ soldiers have been killed in the line of duty in the war so far (as of yesterday).
That's sick enough.
And then you look at Bush and Kerry having political debates over all the deaths. Shouldn't we all just be mourning over all the losses and not making it look like they died for no reason?
It just makes me sick.
Very grim and very sad, indeed.
Note that this figure has already been passed many times over for the ignored:

"While America mourns the deaths of more than 1,000 of its sons and daughters in the Iraq (news - web sites) campaign, the U.S. toll is far less than the Iraqi. No official, reliable figures exist for the whole country, but private estimates range from 10,000 to 30,000 killed since the United States invaded in March 2003."

Don't get me wrong, I'm sorry about the Iraqi deaths. But they aren't that significant to me (especially compared to American casulaties).
I just miss my friends and family that have died in combat!

The only difference between you and an Iraqi civilian is the borders you were born in. If the Iraqi's came to set you free from the tyrany of democracy, would you be thankfull ? Civilians are innocent in this war.

Originally posted by no1marauderYou really believe American soldiers are killing civilians on purpose? In a war unfortunately civilians do get killed but our soldiers are not killing them indiscrimately. If you really believe that then you are an idiot. You wouldn't make such an asinine statement if you had ever worn the uniform (which I doubt) of the United States military. You probably cheer when you read the headlines of an soldier dying.
LMAO
