Griner for how many?

Griner for how many?

Debates

@vivify
While waiting, to be on topic, what do you think drove your wonderful administration to consider and make this decision.

You were proved wrong with your Griner/talent claim. See my thread on the WNBA.

Then you went on some rant about defending Dems no matter what; also wrong if you've seen my posts slamming Biden, even before he was elected.

But one thing I do know based on your posts: you're a weird Trump-rimming little weirdo.
???? WTF 🙂, and you suck on reading people.

That little gremlin sue should pop her head in any moment with her inspiring words and run away without answering anything as usual.

This will go down as the worst prisoner swap in modern history, if not all time.

Russia got a notorious arms dealer who was the most wanted man in the world. The U.S. got the 17th best WNBA player.

Part of me is still glad she got released as 9 years hard labor for a small amount of cannabis oil is excessive. When she was first released, I was glad; in retrospect, i ...[text shortened]... is is a great example of how media can influence bad decisions. This deal was done for the cameras.
BS. Bout would have finished his sentence in a few years anyway; to get an American citizen spared from 9 years in a Russian prison for cannabis possession just to let him out a little early was a wise and humane move.

Believe it was five more years to go without the death this man is facilitating with his arms selling. Do you think she was warned about how strict Russia was on this and Choose to bring it in anyway, therefore accepting the responsibility if caught or privileged and nothing would happen?

Humane, yes. Wise? No.

Bout was scheduled for release in 2029. That would've been seven fewer years of selling weapons to terrorists. The possible ramifications as far as death and war are incalculable.

What utter nonsense. You think the Houthi couldn't have purchased arms if Bout and Griner were still in prison?

Grow up.

Are we talking about anyone. If billy jumps off a bridge are you going to, similar little kid thought pattern. Do you think the people getting attacked and killed with these fully automatic weapons will agree with your twisted logic?

You misspelled "impeccable" before the word "logic".

What level of crime would you say he’s committing right now, along with the huge death threat right now from this person?

Nothing someone else wouldn't be doing in his place if Brittany Griner was still rotting in a Russian prison.

Your hand-waving is adorable but Bout was one of the most wanted men in the world. He sold weapons to Yemeni terrorists, African warlords, the Taliban, the list goes on.

Your yearning for feel-good stories won't erase deaths caused by this man.

Gee so did the US government.(well probably to more murderous groups than those).

Like I said, grow up, if he wasn't in the picture, someone else would be filling the void.

And Brittany Griner would still be in a Russian prison. Yes, I "feel good" that injustice was rectified at no real cost.

According to this article, Bout was present with Russian officials at a meeting with Houthi representatives where the potential sale of automatic weapons was discussed.

So if the Russian government wants to sell weapons to the Houthi in apparent retaliation for US support of Ukraine, you think they wouldn't IF Bout and Griner were still in prison?
