Why are guns legal, but pot not? Guns are far more lethal.

While I agree pot should be legal, that's like asking why cars are legal and not weed since cars are more deadly.

The verb is "treat" and of course they don't like it because it is "practicing medicine" which is extremely highly regulated -- so highly regulated that there is acutally nothing MORE highly regulated except weaponry. And nothing pisses a certain class off like other people trying to go around the regulations. Even when it makes sense.
