@mott-the-hoople saidI love that they used the term "flatten the curve" when the case number is 800, total.

Latest survey shows the COVID vaccines are a disaster: over 800,000 dead
https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/latest-survey-shows-the-covid-vaccines
2.6% of people who got the vaccine are now unable to work and over 800,000 are dead. This is a disaster. No wonder our government isn't doing these surveys!
Surprisingly, the ever-vigilant CDC hasn’t found anyone who has died from the mRNA vaccines. Someone isn’t telling you the truth.
Anyone can run our poll for $500 if you don’t believe us. I predict nobody in mainstream media will touch this because they don’t want to know the truth.

Well over 1% of people die each year. The number of people vaccinated in the US is well over 200 million.
The number of vaccinated dead people is well over 2 million by now, I'm sure. If only 800,000 vaccinated people are dead by now, the vaccine would be a medical miracle.
Of course it's not (it's actually turning out to be somewhat disappointing over-all), but that article is nonsense.

Fractal lounge pads to follow.
@sh76 saidYou do realize that is a survey, right? They didn't ask how many people died despite taking the vaccine, they asked how many people they knew that died from the vaccine. For example, my brother died from the gene vaccine. He didn't die from natural causes.

Happy?
edit: And BTW, you got covid and so did Fauci. Assertions of herd immunity was a lie from the beginning. You are defending liars.

@metal-brain saidHow do you know this?

PS my condolences for your brothers passing.
@metal-brain saidI wouldn't say herd immunity was a "lie." It just didn't work out. We were thinking/hoping that covid wouldn't mutate much. It did. It behaves like other coronaviruses. It mutates. Herd immunity didn't turn out to be a thing like it's not a thing for the cold or flu. That doesn't make it a "lie."

Anyway, I'm not defending anyone. If you don't want to take the vaccine, don't take it. I'm staunchly against all mandates, especially since the current vaccine is borderline useless against transmission. But there's no evidence of widespread death and destruction caused by the vaccine either. Make your own decision and let others do the same. No need to poison the well with absurd propaganda about how dangerous the vaccine is. That's all I'm saying.
The vaccine comes with risks, sure. Am I going to get my 4 year old vaccinated? Not unless a much better Omi-specific vaccine comes out in the Fall.
It's really become an individual decision, kind of like the flu shot. I have 3 shots and an Omicron. My wife has 3 shots and an Omicron. Both of us are very well protected until the Fall, when we'll re-evaluate. No way I'm getting another booster for now. As for my kids, I see no compelling reason to get them more shots than they already have.
We'll re-evaluate in the Fall. If they're giving out an Omi-specific or more generalized version of the vax with the flu shot, I'm probably game for it. But from a policy perspective, as far as I'm concerned, sars-cov-2 is just another endemic coronavirus.
