A $1000.00 bonus is only a $1.00 an hour raise for a little over 6 months or $0.50 cents an hour raise for a little over a year to a full-time worker working 40 hours a week. Then, the bonuses are taxed. It is better than nothing, but it still is peanuts. She's right! unless the bonuses are coming every year. Even then, it is only a .50 cents an hour raise. Now, how much did these company's get again in Dump's tax scam for the wealthy elites???? Unhuh!

Median wage for an hourly worker is $14...convince them $1000 is crumbs. I notice you left out the part where they are getting bonuses AND hourly raises.

Minimum wage in my current state is $7.25 an hour. I'm sure their Thankful for the .50 cents an hour raise to $7.75 an hour for the next year; until it goes back down $7.25 an hour after this one time bonus. After taxes; that $1000.00 dollar bonus is actually about $650.00 take home. Big deal! I can easily spend that in one trip to Walmart. PEANUTS!!!!

$1000 a month, net, is not crumbs. A $1000 one time only bonus, gross, when your boss is getting a yearly $40,000 tax rebate... yeah, that's sour.
