You are exercising your freedom of religion.
As much as I think it is based on a fairy tale.
But when organized religion gets their hands on the gears of a nation, then we have to start to wonder about the progress of that nation.
I exercise my freedom of religion, by discarding it.
Studies consistently show that religion is playing a smaller role in lives of humanity.
And attempts by "those" to continue to try to have the lives of an entire society governed by religious doctrine will lead to unrest in that society.
I put "those" in quotes so I can point out that "those" are increasingly in a minority.
In America, that trend is subtle, slow and gradual but evident and steady.
When minority gets their hands on a nation, things will get rough.
Voter suppression will only lead to further problems.
Christianity is not as extreme as Islam.
America is not Iran.
But the direction is the same. And I hope the slope isn't slippery.
But .....
This is a debate that go on endlessly.
But trying to decide who can marry who, or if a woman has control over her own body are red flags for authoritarianism.
So your complaints about government control ring hollow......

Dear Joe -Before you throw in the towel, and start waving the white flag you might consider: 1. People are free to read and study the Bible, the Koran, or the Torah in America anytime that want. 2. If an Atheist, or anyone else preaches the gospel - it's still the gospel, as a Christian, I have no problem with this - so why do you?

Do you not follow this? You saying we will remain capitalist under these extremists? Hell, people this very day are on this Forum saying to get more money from rich people. Many forms of socialism all add up to one thing.....Socialism. The people on this forum want to Take money from rich, those who earned it, and give it to .....whomever,,,,,hell, I don't even know who. You don't know either.
