Apparently Oliver Stone is coming out with a series on Showtime called, "Secret History of America." In his documentary he says that he will try to put "Hitler in context." In addition, he refers to Hitler as "an easy scapegoat" for the Nazi regime. He claims that the real "Dr. Frankenstein" behind Hitler's rise was a variety of American, British, and corporate interests.

This poor crazed man's mind of leftist mush for a brain, or what's left of one, is truly shocking. He also babbles about the Jewish stronghold in American politics and how they control the media, among other things. My only question for this half coherant sorry sod is why then did "the powers that be" who are so heavily influenced by the Jewish conspiracy to control the world were then used to create the Holocaust in which millions of Jews went to their deaths?

Of course, if you miss this documentary, not to worry. You can catch another documentary entitled, "South of the Border" in which he puts a more friendly spin on South American leftists dictators that have been vilified by the US. I know I am hanging on the edge of my seat to see it, how about you?

So the question begs, has Oliver Stone become the next Mel Gibson? If so, will Oliver suffer the same fate as Gibson? After all, I have observed a great many on the left who now have taken up the crusade to overthrow Zionism and, as a result, some of this has resulted in Anti-semitic rhetoric such as the Jews controlling the media that Oliver seems to believe and probably Mel Gibson believes. All we need now is for him to go into a drunken rage and beat up one of his girl friends for him to complete the slow decent into "Melglamania." However, will he be treated any differently than Mel since he resides left of the political spectrum?

I just realised that everything that is wrong with every single thing that you write can be summed up by pointing out that you of all people don't understand the meaning of 'begging the question'! Happy day.

You're question assumes that he once had one.

Stone is a talented director, but his movies have always been fodder for loony conspiracy nuts. JFK was a great movie, but was a work of fiction. In "Nixon," he has the temerity to say that Nixon was told beforehand of the pending RFK assassination. Of course, with no evidence at all to back up that loony assertion. ๐Ÿ™„

As with Tim Robbins, you separate the man from the performer. You can enjoy the performance, but I would never take seriously a word out of that clown's mouth.

this just in -- Oliver Stone has begun work on a four an a half hour epic called "Melglamania" about Mel Gibson's supposed plan to take over Hollywood. Undisclosed sources say that Whodey has been already been tabbed for the lucrative role of Gibson. Filming starts this fall somewhere in the Cincinnati area.

Isn't this similar to the things that you talk about -- you do complain a great deal about "the statists" and how they control the media, among other things.

My bad. After all, we all know that Washington has zero effect on what the media spews. ๐Ÿ™„

IF...you are serious concerning what you have written here, then I must rise you a bit from where I had you slotted on my "right-headed thinking" scale. Congratulations. ๐Ÿ˜‰

In all fairness, it must be said that whodey's paranoia is not comparable to stone's blatant anti-semitic drivel. Whodey's hysterical claims can be easily explained as a being a byproduct of watching too much glenn beck, and though being amusingly obstinate don't seem to be as mean-spirited and malignant in nature as stone's comments.

My paranoia? Answer yes or no, has Big Brother becoming increasingly powerful over in our lives? If so, is there anything to fear from such domination?

It is my view that Washington has its tentacles in every aspect of our daily life INCLUDING the media. That is a far cry from saying there is a Jewish conspiracy to destroy us all.

I guess that's one difference -- you don't try to pin the conspiracy on any one ethnic group.
