Should states have to enter bidding wars in order to secure badly needed medical supplies to save peoples lives? My home state of Washington is now doing just that, along with other states such as New York and Michigan. Last week, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker told Trump he was denied three major orders of equipment because the feds had outbid him.
The right wing will be so proud of this, no Socialism here. Your chances of staying alive depends on your State's ability to pay. God bless American capitalism!

@mchill saidObviously, it would be preferable if there was no shortage of necessary items. But given that there is no way to immediately prevent a shortage of a necessary item, there is absolutely nothing wrong with entities that are both using it to save lives to bid on it.

@mchill saidThis why putting businessmen in charge of government is an inherently bad idea.

Oh Really? The Federal government is now bidding against individual states for these supplies. Who's side are they on - Mr. Dimwit?
The right of one to continue living is now being decided by state and corporate bean counters, and if you're found guilty of some inconvenient law, you pay a monetary fine (without admitting guilt) chalk it up as the cost of doing business, raise your prices accordingly, and start it all over again. God bless Conservative America. You people are sick!
