Dear Democrats - This wasn't a very happy election cycle, but perhaps it's time to consider Trump's 1st term in office: Aside from getting some judges appointed, not much was accomplished. Only a tiny amount of his wall got built (and we're still waiting for Mexico to pay for it) those highly promised manufacturing jobs never materialized, inexpensive wind and solar power ruined Trump's plans to boost our dependence on oil and coal. Trump left office with a 34% job approval rating, and a mountain of legal woes - - and though he's obtained a few new bimbos to steam his pants, he'll bungle it again. Trump is too incompetent, and ego driven be an effective leader.
In the meantime, soldier on. We don't need to whail about stolen elections, Chinese airplanes dropping rice paper ballots into election boxes, file lawsuits, claiming everything was "rigged" nor do we need to send a mob of armed goons to deface our capital building, and kill people. The voters will turn against him and the rest of the GOP, just like it did last time.

I never saw a dime of his tax cut the first time. I'm not part of the 1%.
Of course you believe the House reports. The House is full of inept Trumpers.

Lying is a pre-requisite for membership in the MAGA mob.
@Suzianne saidWhy do libs not say what they really want from a President, the Congress, etc. You want the govt involved in your lives, we all know that. Can you fellers be specific as to what extent you want, say, Donald Trump, to act when it comes to money?
Exactly.
Lying is a pre-requisite for membership in the MAGA mob.
If he protects us as is his oath, and has economic agendas in place that support the running of this country, tell us what he seems to be doing that you are not happy about. What is it that WE cons discuss that you do not agree with? What could it be??
I do not mean questions about whether tariffs are good or bad, I am saying what do you want the end results to be.

Excuse me Mr. Einstein - Every time you put a stamp on a letter and mail it the government is involved in your life, when you expect the FDIC to guarantee your bank balance the government is involved in your life, when our Army or Navy protects us from an attack the government is involved in your life, if you use an FHA or VA backed mortgage to buy a house the government is involved in your life, when you call the police and report a crime, the government is involved in your life, if you have to sue someone the government is involved in your life, whenever you vote at election time, the government is involved in your life, and the list goes on. Unless you live under a big rock (and plan to stay there) the government is - already - involved in your life. Wake up and smell the coffee! 🙄
@mchill saidThese idiots need to take good long look at the preamble to the Constitution.

This is what the government promises you, despite all the morons we've been electing lately (and especially those we get whom we don't elect) who want to take it all away.
@Suzianne saidDid you see McHill's drivel above? He really nailed me, I have no comeback!! The only thing he omitted was the goverment forgiving/paying off the indebtedness of its citizens!

@mchill saidYah, most of his "policy" is unrealistic and, if implemented, would be bad for trump. So I don't expect him to do much other than golf.

Let's hope we don't have another COVID like crisis, though that might require a leader with actual leadership skills.
@mchill saidParts of what little was added to "the wall" during the Turd Emperor's first term were actually blown down by a breeze less than two weeks after the White House was fumigated and Biden moved in in 2021.

It's pretty hilarious.
EDIT: Oops -- I got the date wrong. The bits of wall blew down while the Turd Emperor was still in office. *derp*
