FOX reports that white kids got invites and were welcome.

My friend, they do every day..
Lotsa' white only frats, and sorority's.
Still many, many places in Dixie, Blacks cannot go.
I've lived and traveled the American South extensively.
Oh, there aren't any ''whites only,'' signs anymore
...but it is well understood.
What folks tend to forget, when comparing, is this one fact.
EVERYONE, who migrated to The United States, be it Irish,
Italian, German, my people were Dutch & Canadian, whatever, people came here because they wanted to.
Black folks were brought here enslaved and in chains.
Well, your hypothetical, if it were an Irish marching band, I would expect mostly white, Irish kids. A bagpiper's group, mostly, I
suppose white Scotsmen, but, of course, as with this school in
Rhode Island, everyone is welcome to attend.

They invited little white kids.

The middle school whites were not invited.

"According to parents and students at the Wheeler School, who reported their experience to Parents Defending Education (PDE), “white students at the middle school level were not allowed to attend.” At lower grade levels, the racial segregation was reportedly not observed"

They advertised a colored meet up.
