They discovered a lot of new variants and more to come because the average vax is under 4 percent so there WILL be more deadly variants coming.
Have a brain, the most likely source of variants has been and will always be the region of the world that contains India and China.
Vaxxing all Americans would do little good, even if vaxxing does slow down variants.

As a side note ....... I read that some population projections predict that Nigeria will surpass China in population before the end of this century.

Wikipedia projects Nigeria about 730M by 2100. China about 1.06B
I saw some other projections a while back that put China at about 700M by 2100.
Probably a little low.
But it seems that the 1 child policy has lasting effects for several generations.
