Mixed race people refer to themselves as black.

Half of them is the same as me.

Therefore I am half black, ie mixed race.

And since mixed race people refer to themselves as black I must be black.

Interesting. My wife's mother is half Chippewa but she calls herself white.

I'm off white. I used to be a nice light brown when I lived in Florida, but since I live in the mountains and it is winter I can honestly say that I am kinda alabaster.

Caucasians are referred to as white, but I have yet to see a truly white person. Even albinos are sort of pink, but not quite white.

I love the narrow thought of your statements statements. For a start, not every mixed race person refers to themselves as black. Especially if they are part hispanic, part oriental or part sub-saharan (etc).

These days you don't even just get 'black' or 'white' on ethnic origin forms - you get 'black african', 'black carinean', 'white african'... even 'white irish'. I suspect that you were being over simplistic in order to be facetious, but if not I'll have to put it down to you simply being overly simple 😉

I could however be facetious myself and draw hope that you meant that, if we go beyond such labels, we are all the same 🙂

Well Edwin, Firsts I think I'd start off by saying if thats your actual picture on your acount. I would say I hate to break it to you but your not actually black at all, you're really more of a brown and in some part a light brown.
Second, what the hell does it matter what you skin color is?

I'm with Hank. Skin color doesn't choose race! We are all part of the human race! (Unless there are some animals here.)
