thats pretty much how everyone lives their lives. we all hide behind our perception's of the universe, but eventually human curiosity would kick in and it would begin to ask questions. Much in the same way science broke away from religion, ironically it's birth mother.

What could you possibly be basing that on? That would have to mean that babies have a preconcived notion of religion at birth.
