@whodey saidSo then, you support
On the outside chance gaffe man Joe makes it to the Oval Office, I think it prudent to serve him with impeachment papers his first day in office.
At best, his son's international dealings were unethical if not unlawful.
(A) Impeaching a person for the actions of his adult child(ren), and
(B) therefore Impeaching Trump for the actions of his adult children, whose dealings are unethical and unlawful as well. Not to mention his wife having worked here illegally in the past, which has gotten other people deported.
Good to know where you stand.

please state how?
@Mott-The-Hoople
How bout his son in law lying about 30 times on his security clearance papers and had his security clearance denied by professionals but overturned by Trump so now a completely ineligible person was just arbitrarily given a top secret clearance which BTW, in my case took almost 6 months to complete for ME and I was in the frigging AIR FORCE on active duty at the time. I can tell you nobody pushed for MY top secret clearance which I got BTW.
What military branch did YOU serve in? Did you have a security clearance? I would be very surprised if you had done either.
@sahuaro saidThe only reason Hunter got those jobs was cuz of his daddy's connections.

He had no experience for those jobs.
@whodey saidYep, Biden admitted the quid pro quo like he was commander McBragg at the CFR. Democrats should throw Biden under the bus and vote for Tulsi Gabbard. Name recognition is the only reason Biden is doing well in the polls.

No, I'm not voting for Biden.
But I'm also not voting for a candidate who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning.
@whodey saidLook, stupid, you back Trump, so don't even presume to lecture us on ethics.

@sonhouse saidA 6 month SCI investigation?

That's a pretty long time.
In actuality, the only Airmen who didn't require a Top Secret clearance were the tech-school "washbacks" at base recreation and sanitation.
Oddly enough, their re-enlistment bonuses were higher than most: Life isn't fair.
@WOLFE63
Actually it was 4 months I think. Were you in the AF? My line was 32150E, bomb nav mechanic and only required a secret clearance.
I applied for crypto and that was what took months for top secret.
And BTW, I did not 'wash out' of tech school, which lasted a full year at Lowry AFB in Denver. I got a case of influenza during the last month of training and was in hospital for 2 weeks but still managed a 90% score on my final test and aced my 5 level test at my working base.
It sounds to me like you were a bit bitter, did you get washed out of tech school?
I was at Great Lakes NTC for BEE school. Then Chanute Field, Illinois for Weather Equipment. In particular, we emphasized component level trouble shooting of weather radar. My follow-up specialty became Tactical Weather Equipment on Guam.
I went to school with some your Crypto guys at Chanute. Their training was long and intensive like ours.
No bitterness here. I was very lucky and look back on those years fondly. My comment regarding the reenlistment bonus was mere commentary on its irony. The most skilled were not always the ones rewarded. Just like in the real world...ehh?
