@Sleepyguy saidDisappointed.
At long last.
Who's happy? Who's sad? Who's hopeful? Who's mad?
But we survived four years of Trump's corruption and incompetence before, so hopeful we'll do it again and that the harm he will do to the country will be reversible soon enough.
@no1marauder saidAmazing that you can speak of corruption and incompetence in the wake of Biden. It just goes to show how completely divided the nation is, either side accusing the other of exactly the same things.
Disappointed.

Unfortunately I don't see much hope that either side will do anything to reverse the maniacal spending and debt. The DOGE boys may make some noise but Congress will be unmoved I'm afraid.
@Sleepyguy saidIn retrospect, Biden's Presidency will be seen as largely successful. The economy improved, he got us out of the Afghan mess and made some useful measures to start addressing climate change. I really don't know of any serious "corruption" issues during his administration while Trump's criminal activity and blatant violations of the Emoulments clause are a matter of public record.

@no1marauder saidI can't tell if you actually believe that stuff or are just gaslighting. Whatever man LOL.

@Sleepyguy saidSorry, it's all true.
I can't tell if you actually believe that stuff or are just gaslighting. Whatever man LOL.
The alternate reality Fox News and other right wing propaganda outlets have constructed for the gullible isn't real.
@Sleepyguy saidNo, it's actually true. I didn't expect much from the Biden Presidency, so I have been overjoyed. Joe is a clever old warhorse and leaves the USA in excellent shape in every way. 😆

Was there a moment of temporary inflation due to the pent-up demand from the pandemic? Yes, yes there was. Did we raise interest rates to bring that inflation back down? Yes, yes we did.
Did we invest in America's infrastructure, creating jobs and looking forward to green energy? Yes, yes we did. (NB. Which just makes sense - my UAW, machinist, Trump-voting friend has TWO plug-in electric cars made by Ford and LOVES them! What a world...)
The only perennial disappointment is the debt - which has been a bogeyman every since Reagan released it. NOBODY has the balls to tackle it, and Joe did not, either. Sole disappointment.
Everything else has been wonderful. 😆

@Metal-Brain saidI used it just to show direct quotes from Donald Trump.

Trump apologists like yourself won't accept any source without a right wing bias.

@no1marauder saidExcept the corruption is more, the incompetence is slightly less.
Disappointed.

He has been to this rodeo before. His biggest immediate mistake will be to believe his own lies about the "mandate".
I kept waiting for Biden to reverse everything Trump did in the WH before. He ended his term with me still waiting.

@Sleepyguy saidIncompetence? Perhaps.

Corruption? A definite no.
When compared to Trump, Biden is an amateur in the corruption game.
Biden just wants to buy ice cream.
Trump just wants to buy people.
